The Founders

Alex and Loes have learnt the power of true interdisciplinary collaboration based on trust and curiosity: they had both been practicing anticipation for emergence, just through very different entry points.
Loes Damhof was elected as Lecturer of the Year of all higher education in The Netherlands in 2016, and decided to spend the attached prestigious Comenis Award on developing Futures Literacy pilots. As part of the UNESCO Chair on Futures Literacy in Higher Education at Hanze University, she researches the impact of Futures Literacy and trains and consults  staff of global organizations such as FutureWomenX, UNESCO, UNFCCC, ClimateKIC, Museum of Tomorrow, UN, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies and Oxfam. She is a Future Fellow at Hawkwood College, a steering committee member of the Futures Oriented Museum Synergies, and an editor for the Journal of Futures Studies.
Alex Lambie is an islander, a poet and an artist creating listening adventures that reawaken our sense of wonder, to glimpse a deeper understanding beyond the grasp of knowing. Alex’s works include immersive installations, recitals, workshops and residential deep-dives for partners including The Royal Society of Arts, Hotel Wonderland (Amsterdam), Museum of Tomorrow International, and Museum of Discovery (Adelaide). He is a Fellow at Hawkwood College, an RSA Fellow, and a UNESCO Futures Literacy Fellow of Storytelling.
